DONATO USA INC requires the services of a Computer Systems Analyst to analyze the client by user requirements and procedures to automate and improve their existing systems as well as review our client’s computer systems capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Specifically, his job duties will consist of:
Responsibilities
They will be collecting business requirements for new report requests and dashboards/visualizations requests about 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time will be spent working with the development and testing team to create technical requirements and match the coding output back to the business requirements. This role will require solid experience writing SQL.
Summary:
They will take on 2 different lines of work; We call them BI Tracks:
- BI Track: Ad Hoc Analysis (25%) = a business owner wants a new report (i.e.; they want to look at members in Kitsap, what providers they have been seeing, visits, etc.) – the business requirements will need to be collected and refined, then work with the developers to come up with the technical requirement, the developer writes the code, produces the output and then the BSA reviews the code to match the business requirements for the business owner; They will need to read and write SQL
A typical process will look like this:
- Work with the business owners, create a BRD, and functional requirement, get sign off from the business owner, and engage the developer and a QA analyst together, they do their work at the same time, BSA needs to answer the questions of business owners, developers, and QA throughout the time; BSA looks at the developer output, passes to QA, answers questions of both and then the BSA shows the final product to business for approval and then to the change control board for approval and then we move it into production
